The first article in this series was a primer for some serious blogging about The United States of America, it's current choices, the future it faces and the consequences of this countries likely future on you, the reader. Please remember, I am an American citizen and what I write about America is from a completely honest perspective. Although some of the scenarios I entertain may frighten you, they are not meant to offend, merely cause you to think. This article explores a few of the very real...

One of the many things I've had reinforced in my time posting on forums and blogs is that people take themselves way too seriously. A joke is posted, and suddenly someone crawls out of the woodwork to cry defamation, or to bore the community with a list of supposed facts. Here's some advice, and a few guidelines, to help people stop looking like jackasses: 1.) First, calm down. Really, pop some pills, take a shot of something strong, meditate or whatever works to shift down a few gears. Ran...

Just curious, is this what the average Kerry supporter looks like? If so, why am I scared?

Keeping the news channels in rotation is an easy way for me to keep up on the news as I work. A funny story making rounds is John Kerry's new election night strategy: To declare himself the next President if there are any disputes in the voting nationwide. This strikes me as extremely funny, to declare vistory before all the votes are counted and resolved. But if John Kerry can do it, why can't I? I AM THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! To shed some light on your next fo...

You've heard him say it, I've heard him say it, it's impossible to miss, "I will not raise taxes on people making less than $200,000 a year". Kerry says this at almost every oppurtunity as the cornerstone of paying for his many proposed programs. Either you believe this is an attempt at class warfare or a fair system for financing government, which is fine. But whats the truth? First, you can confirm Kerry's answer at issues2000.org . "Q: Would you be willing to look directly into the ca...

I design telcomm tower sites for a living. AT&T, T-Mobile, Nextel, Alamosa and Sprint are my clients. It's time to start a new quarter, so things are crazy. I plan to be pretty much glued to my computer monitor for the next few weeks as work pours in. Thanks goodness for home coffee grinders, high speed broadband and a killer .mp3 collection. Here's how it goes down every 3 months... First, the work is never whats actually contracted. No, that would be TOO EASY. Minor changes in a single site...

It's been a few weeks since I've joined at JU, and I just wanted to thank everyone for the great responses to my articles. It seems that in under a month I've been able to hit the top 100, and I attribute that entirely to YOU. There are a few things I should probably admit to in case you haven't picked up on them yet... 1.) SOMETIMES I SAY OUTRAGEOUS THINGS. Thats right, just to cause controversy. Notice how abortion is a hot topic the past 24 hours? Thats me basically throwing out the murde...

Proof that John Edwards causes global warming! Don't destroy our childrens future - vote Bush/ Cheney in November!

Let's get together and make murder legal. After all, when someone takes a human life, they are only making a choice for themselves. Shouldn't that be a persons right? Think of the man robbing a store, shooting a clerk dead. The poor robber needed the money because of Americas economic unfairness. That robber is entitled to the same nice things other people have, and should not have to worry that someone else might turn them in. Feel for the woman that murders her cheating husband. He hurt her...

I received this email, and after checking out it's claims it's pretty much dead on. Would a Democrat care to explain how this works? " I'm Confused I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe? Lemme see; have I got this straight? Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good... Bush awards Halliburt...

Another reply to another blogger that believes No Child Left Behind doesn't work... "You obviously haven't had No Child Left Behind influence your childs education like I have. My son is 8 years old, and was born with ADHD and functional autism. We always knew he was an intelligent child, but a little different than others. This became extremely apparent in Kindergarten as our son started failing every piece of work he did, despite constant tutoring from my wife and I (usually 3-4 hours a ni...

Think Saddam was contained? Think he wasn't a terrorist? Do you think, in any fashion, that the Iraq war was a mistake? More Iraqi mass graves "The head of the unit, Greg Kehoe, who has seen more than his share of horrors in places such as the Balkans, couldn’t believe what he saw. "I’ve never seen women and children executed, defenseless people executed in this fashion," he said. "I mean, you look at a young woman holding her 2-year-old child with a gunshot wound to the back of the he...

My voter registration card is valid. I used it 4 years ago to add my vote. And yet, not a single county shows me as registered. Nobody seems to know what to tell me to correct this problem, and honestly I'm getting a little tired talking to these people. My wife, who was registered in the same county as I was four years ago, went with me to vote. We signed in side by side and cursed Al Gores name under our breath as we entered our booths. Now, her registration has been updated to our new county....

I posted this as a reply to blogic in my "Vice President Cheneys daughter is a lesbian" blog entry. I feel there is a little confusion over the marriage amendment that needs to be cleared up: "Marriage in the United States shall consist only of the union of a man and a woman. Neither this Constitution, nor the constitution of any State, shall be construed to require that marriage or the legal incidents thereof be conferred upon any union other than the union of a man and a woman." This i...

Just in case you missed John Kerry bringing that up over and over and over, as if it was an issue. Hopefully this blog entry will help everyone know this important fact, because Kerry WONT STOP BRINGING IT UP.
