My voter registration card is valid. I used it 4 years ago to add my vote. And yet, not a single county shows me as registered. Nobody seems to know what to tell me to correct this problem, and honestly I'm getting a little tired talking to these people. My wife, who was registered in the same county as I was four years ago, went with me to vote. We signed in side by side and cursed Al Gores name under our breath as we entered our booths. Now, her registration has been updated to our new county.

Am I lost in the shuffle? The worst part is, she's giving me a hard time about it (jokingly), everytime we discuss politics now (daily) she comes up with "If you arent even going to vote then what does your opinion matter?". This, in spite of our almost identical political views. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

You can vote anyways, without being on the rolls, as a provisional voter.

I did a little searching and found that, even though my wife and I both registered in Durham County when we moved out here and got our driver's licenses, neither of us showed up. Fortunately we discovered this early enough, so we re-registered and have our cards now. Best of luck getting things worked out.

Is this a plot by democrats to disenfranchise your vote?
