Nov. 3rd, Terry McAuliffe, DNC Chairman, stated after Tuesdays Bush victory, "there's no one person in the party who can step in and put the Dems on the right track". Finally! A moment of honesty from the head DNC crook (remember the guy that turned a $100,000 investment into $18,000,000 in 11months through Global Crossing profiteering?). This is the third straight election cycle that Terry McAuliffe is taking the heat for, and word is, he's on the outs. How quickly things change. It was a mere 2 years ago (after the 2002 Congressional elections) that Terry McAuliffe was saying to every media outlet he could jump in front of, "Folks, Democrats are in good shape and we look forward to the upcoming cycle."
Or is he really being honest? On Nov. 4th, Terry is back out in front of the cameras changing his story. "This party is stronger than its ever been. Were in the best financial shape, he says. We now have, unlike four years ago, millions and millions of new supporters of this party. Were debt-free for the first time ever and were beginning to build towards 2008." So which is it Terry? Are the Dems off track, or stronger than ever? This is the kind of double speak that makes Ayn Rand novels look comparitivly sane

The beauty of this election is that we are now able to see what is truely in the hearts of Democrats. The double speak continues, topped with an ounce of rage and blame. Not since the National Socialists blamed the Judes for the problems of a depression ridden Germany have I seen so much hate speech. Here's a sample for those of you that haven't kept up...

yes I know it's irrational to hate the enemy, but I do it anyway

Soros is trying to make the world a better place, while people like you try to make it worse

For a minimum of four years you have embraced fear and intolerance instead of the opportunity for change and hope

just pushed in George Bush, who will draft you, draft your kids, or burn you on healthcare and/or wellfare

we are starting a protest on Bush's Inauguration. Wear a black shirt that states 'Death of Democracy'

...then to hell with pulling together.

so u people seem to have committed suicide agan...Don't tell me ur country has been hjacked by the bible belt monkeys

Fuck that, just give me a sniper rifle, I feel a bit of Lee Harvey's soul in me.

And my personal favorite...

hope all you stupid white southern people are happy, you elected a white cokehead for president

And this, my friends, is just an small sample from local bloggers.

The American people didn't just elect George W. Bush to a second term this past Tuesday, we saved the nation from being led by a party of hatred.

What surprises me is how some of the Democrats I know (even from school) seem to really hate America. Besides "apologizing" to the world, and saying how stupid Americans are for having a different opinion, they're making the same hollow promises of moving to Canada (one would think if one loved a country, they wouldn't leave it when everything doesn't go their way).

Yeah, seems like JU is running rampant with defeatist end times Pseudo-Anarchist (because true Anarchist hate the left agenda along with the right) Bigots and it is sort of pissing me off because I thought I quit pissing in their Wheaties...ah well maybe that is why they are so angry...
Some people like to be pissed off and these guys must like to be pissed on...

Though some are downright hilarious and they have me rolling!!
Must have pissed in their Wheaties when I was drunk!

Well, I'm not a dem, but I am a lefty, and I say:

I pray President Bush makes good decisions. I pray for peace and prosperity for our great nation. I WANT President Bush to prove that I was wrong about him and make me feel guilty for ever doubting him. I pray that America will move forward and become stronger, more secure, and more united while remaining a beacon of freedom.

I am Texas Wahine, and I approved this message.

I wouldn't be throwing around accusations of corporate fraud making folks rich with bush 2.0 and Cheney at the wheel Zombie...Comes off as a tad bit hypocritical!

Prove it with documentation or at least a reference to specific allegations or charges. This is exactly the type of meltdown Im talking about... Terry McAuliffes profiteering is documented and was well played out in the media, even though Janet Reno gave him a free pass (wonder how that happened?). Although the left continues to accuse Bush and Cheney of corporate scandals, they have yet to produce anything to support their accusations. Even the slightest hint of anything. Wow, truely amazing and out of touch with how America works.

Does it sound like a good one? I didn't mean it as a poem but sometimes you know it happens.
Hell, one time I told somebody off rhyming every other sentence...when pseudo poets verbiage their being cross with others.

Some more classics:

Bush and his supporters should be thrown in jail. That's right, JAIL!...Burn the right-wingers.

While the democrats may be awash in cash, it is not coming from the real people. It is coming from the likes of Babs, and Soros, who are bankrolling the party. The common folks, those who work and sweat each day to make a living, long ago abandoned the party. They only vote for the candidate because, as Little_Whip showed, "Their parents told them to". They do not agree with it, but due to fearmongering and ignorance, they vote for it.

So Haliburton, Diebold, The petrochemical lobby, and silicon valley are just plain old folks? Riiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Zombie. Haliburton did business with IRAN while Cheney was CEO. Plain as day, and well documented. They're the enemy right? 1979 was just a wacky misunderstanding? bush 2.0 with the oil biz in Midland. Inflating the stock then selling it. Thats called a stock run...And it's a felony. Go to the SEC's website and look it up if you like. Fortunately for bush 2.0 the statue of limitations ran out sometime during his stint as Gov.

It would be pretty naive of any of us to say either side has clean hands when it comes to big business. But there is a difference here. You folks think its acceptable behavior whhen your guys do it and when the other guys do it you call for their heads.

Yep i think hypocrite applies here!

"If" this was a felony like you claim it to be don't you think the SEC would have done something about it? Never once did they bring it up.
What about 1979?

That sounds a little too glib and too much like what the left is saying about us. It doesn't cast us in a good light to impute irrationality or stupidity to our opponents, either. Mainly because it's not true. Let's stay with the message, facts and persuasion. I think LW would agree.

From a fellow knuckle-dragger.

I agree with Texas Wahine

I pray President Bush makes good decisions.

After all, its the only thing he's proven to be good at....

Oh, and as a democrat, who loves this country, I don't belive we are the party of hatred.
There are right-wing nut jobs who walk around saying we're all gonna burn in hell cause we're not Republican's.
While I understand we're a little rash at times, and some of us are even disrespectful (i.e. the protest picture;
though they fall in the same catagory as the right -wing nut jobs.), there are democrats
who voted for Kerry because we believe he would've done a much better job than Bush... Because we don't agree with the direction Bush has
taken us.

Just remember that the next time you call liberals unpatriotic, etc. We're not all hollywood flag -burning elitists. Some of us are actually invested in this country
and don't want to see it transformed into a republic of theocracy!
