While cable networks such as Fox are a little more cautious to call close races, ABC news has called Florida as a Bush win.
ABC News jumps the gun?
I'd love to see some of your faces right now...

Everyone besides foxnews did last time (the opposite way) and Bush has been ahead there by 300,000 or so all night so it makes sense they would finally call it. Now all we need it Ohio and I can go to bed happy.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I've been finding it funny that with 97% reported in, CNN, MSNBC, and FNC are all staying hands off. CNN still doesn't have it in their close race category, either! Once bitten, I guess...

As soon as I posted, I refreshed CNN and they are now calling Florida for Bush.

Gosh, at 11:48 pm EST, the local NBC news affiliate was reporting on the people down at the University of Miami
who were still waiting to vote!!!
If those voters happen to be watching TV while they're waiting in line, might this be construed as voter intimidation? (I'm only halfway kidding too.) It just seems a bit irresponsible considering it
is
close (51-47% although it is 98% of the precincts), especially in light of the missing absentee ballots. I mean would it
kill
them to wait just a little while longer before calling it?

And it looks like Bush is going to win Ohio (hes been up there all day and as far as I know there arent any really really really liberal areas there that have yet to be counted.)
