With election day this, polling that, political spin all over, here's a little something to help you relax: desktop customization.
As many of you know, Draginol is a major force in the Windows OS customization world. His company, Stardock, makes several top notch programs that allow you to change your desktop to suite your needs. Here's a little guide to help get you started.

The dark 'skin' over Windows is created using either Windowblinds or msstyles. There are literally thousands of skins that can be applied to the Windows interface.

The wonderful widgets that make the desktop USEFUL. Weather, political meters, grammer tools and FTP access are all at your fingertips using either DesktopX or AveDesk.

I definitely like the WB and OD, and the AveDesk is cool. I have yet to try out it, but soon i will
