A quick thought for Democrats and Republicans alike; hasn't the music been really good for this election cycle? I'm sitting here working, listening to eMotive by 'A Perfect Circle', which is basically nothing more than an anti-war album. It's good, probably some of the best stuff Maynards put out since he did Aenema with Tool. And to think, all because he's upset with President Bush.
It's everywhere this season, U2 is out and about, Green Day, a ton of country and pop music headliners releasing songs about their point of view. And it's all pretty good. Reminds me of some of the music I've heard from the late 60's... passionate, regardless of whether you agree with the message. This war, and this election, have brought out the best in artists everywhere.

So here's to Maynard and his musical friends, thanks for the tunes.



And before anyone brings it up, yes I know I'm a conservative listening to very liberal/ alternative music. I've been a TOOL fan for a decade now... there might be more to me than the 'conservative' label implies.
